Configure customer accounts in accounting
Updated over a year ago

This interface allows defining the accounting accounts associated with each client to enable the transfer of elements to accounting. It is recommended to configure the automatic creation of client accounts to ensure smooth and consistent management.

Prerequisites

  • Final clients must be created beforehand to perform the accounting configuration. See the article: Create a Client.

  • Access to this configuration is only available if authorized by the accounting firm.

Configure Client Accounts in Settings

Access the Accounting Menu

  1. Go to the Accounting menu.

  2. Click on Clients.

Associate an Individual Accounting Account

  • For each client, assign their individual auxiliary accounting account.

  • If no account is selected for a client record, the default client account will be used during the transfer to accounting. The default client account is defined in Settings.

Assign an account during client creation or editing

When creating or editing a client record in Fact, it is possible to create the corresponding auxiliary accounting account directly:

  1. Click on "New Account" at the bottom left.

  2. Enter the account number and label.

  3. Upon saving the client record, the auxiliary account is automatically created in the accounting software.

Associate an Existing Account

  • By clicking on "Existing Account", the list of client accounting accounts already present in the accounting software is displayed and can be selected.
