How to duplicate a document?

Fact offers the possibility to duplicate documents already created for various purposes:

  • Make the same document for the same client
    Example: for a recurring order or billing

  • Make the same document for another client

  • Etc...

The documents that can be duplicated are:

  • Quotation

  • Purchase Orders

  • Delivery notes

  • Invoices

The new document generated after clicking on “duplicate” will always be created in “draft” state.

It will therefore be fully editable and deletable.

There are two ways to duplicate a document:

  • from trading history

  • from document

Duplicate a document from the commercial history

  1. Go to the “Documents” menu

  2. Select the desired document type in the tabs

  3. Then choose the document concerned and click on the icon

    located at the end of the line then on “Duplicate

The new document is thus created in the “draft” state. it is now possible to:

  1. Modify the various information in the appropriate fields, namely:

    • The configuration

    • The recipient customer

    • Payment information

    • The subject of the new document

    • Articles and formatting

    • Footnotes

  2. Do not modify the document and leave it as is

Duplicate document from document

  1. Go to the “Documents” menu

  2. Select the desired document type in the tabs

  3. Click on the document to duplicate to open it, Finally, click on the “Duplicate” button

The new document is thus created in the “draft” state. it is now possible to:

  1. Modify the various information in the appropriate fields, namely:

    • The configuration

    • The recipient customer

    • Payment information

    • The subject of the new document

    • Articles and formatting

    • Footnotes

  2. Do not modify the document and leave it as is
