Publish Dashboard for clients

Dashboard visibility pptions

By default, a Dashboard’s visibility is restricted for clients by a publication date.

This means that clients can only view completed data up to the specified publication date, set by month. However, this restriction does not apply to forecast data, which will be fully visible to clients.

This setting ensures that clients cannot see months that are not yet closed or for which data may be incomplete, thus ensuring that presented data is comprehensive.

Example: If the publication date is set to August 2022, clients will view data up to and including August 2022.

It is possible to lift this restriction, allowing clients to view data in “real time.” As soon as data is updated (e.g., an indicator value is entered, or a new accounting entry is recorded), clients will see the updated data immediately.

Updating the publication date

  1. Click on "Publish" in the upper right corner.

  2. Select the month of publication (the latest date up to which clients will see results).

  3. Confirm your selection with the "Publish" button.

Exporting the Dashboard as a PDF

You can export the entire Dashboard as a PDF. This export will include data up to the publication date (limited to the client view).

To export as PDF:

  1. Click the "PDF" button in the actions area on the right.

  2. When the next window appears, click "Export to PDF."

Notifying Clients

Once the publication date is updated, you can notify clients and team members on the account via email. You can also choose to receive a copy of this email.

  • Click "Send Email" to notify all clients and/or team members associated with the account.

  • Click "Not This Time" to skip sending the notification email.

  • Uncheck the box above if you don’t wish to receive a copy of the notification email.

Clients and team members using the Dashboard mobile app will receive a mobile notification for any changes to the publication date.
